2023 Books

In 2023, I had the pleasure of diving into a variety of books from different authors and genres on Amazon. From dark romance to contemporary romance, each book has offered a unique and captivating experience.

One author that has stood out to me is Melanie Harlow, and her book “Runaway Love.” This is a story of two people from different worlds that unexpectedly fall in love. The chemistry between the main characters is electric, and the way Harlow develops their relationship feels authentic and real.

VH Nicolson’s “Haunting Eden” The story is hauntingly beautiful and depicts the complexities of love and loss in a profound way.

Vaya Thorn’s “Believing in Fate” from the Morelli Mafia series is a romantic suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat. The way Thorn develops the characters and their love story amidst danger and secrets is spellbinding.

Jescie Hall’s “That Sik Luv” is a captivating story of two people navigating a tumultuous relationship that is both passionate and destructive. The book deals with themes of love, addiction, and forgiveness, and the way Hall explores these themes is both insightful and emotional.

Nikki A Lamers’ “Unforgettable Summer” is a sweet romance that takes place during a summer in a small town. The story is heartwarming and depicts the joy and excitement of falling in love for the first time.

Rina Kent’s “Blood of My Monster” is a dark and twisted romance that explores the depths of obsession and love. The book is well-written and takes the reader on a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

Jessica Lou’s “Alex” is a contemporary romance. The book is a delightful read that combines romance and finding your true identities

Catherina Maura’s “The Temporary Wife” is a fake marriage romance that is both witty and charming. The way Maura develops the relationship between the main characters feels authentic, and the plot is well-paced and engaging.

Finally, C.W. Farnworth’s “Fake Empire” is a thrilling read that explores the dark side of power and corruption. The book is well-written, and the plot twists and turns kept me guessing until the very end.

In conclusion, the books I have read so far in 2023 have offered a wide range of experiences and emotions. Each author has brought something unique to the table, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to read their work. As R.R. Martin said, “A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies…The man who never reads lives only one.”
